Here is the look Coco that imposed itself to us this autumn - warm colors married to dense shades : golden honey, warm beige, true red, bright green, navy ... The jacket is homemade (thanks to my neighbor) decorated with a Macon&Lesquoy embroidery, cardigan Petit Bateau, skirt Monoprix, shoes Cyrillus (home made dye) ... What really spiced up this outfit is the color of the knee high socks called "True Red" from Collégien!
Collégien is the famous brand of slippers-socks with breathable sole so perfect for the nursery and school. They are made in France in a family business established since 4 generations in the Tarn. Now they also make tights and socks from cotton of Egypt and the colors are just beautiful.

Look Coco 14

It was freezing cold yesterday morning so I decided it was time to put our winter coat. I always try to postponed that dead line where boots, tights and coat are a necessity because I know that there is no return possible before six long cold months. Anyway, yesterday was the day, specially because we bike to the kindergarten. I was lucky enough that Colette agreed to wear her new coat but she decided not to leave home without my wool hat nor her sunglasses ... She sometimes can be so posh !

Look Coco 09

This is a very classic automnal outfit endlessly renewed, always fashionable. Here, the traditional scottish pleated skirt is grey, black and red - available at Z with the assorted dark red coton tights. A short sleeve sweater C.F.K. Monoprix on top of a dark grey turtle neck shirt Okaïdi complete the outfit. The vivid pink coton scarf is an old H&M one from the past summer collection.

Look Coco 06

I'm tempted to say that red pants are a bargain for the Winter wardrobe ! You'll find these ones at H&M. The cut is not bad and the colour pretty good but you'll have to deal with the Hello Kitty badge on the right back pocket ... The long sleeve tee-shirt with the lovely felt cat patch on the front is from Bout'chou Monoprix. The shoes I picked for the season are the grey leather low cut boots from Pom d'Api (that look like the Desert Clarks one).

Look Coco 05

I'm a big fan of that kind of outfit: comfortable/ not too wintery but just right for that shoulder season/ easy to wear and yet fashionable. The red scarf is giving that rock'n roll touch and tone up the grey and light pink.
Red scarf with printed wolves dancing in a stylised white and pink cherry tree/ Grey leggins - H&M
Knitted grey jacket with silver lurex, one button/ Light pink, long sleeves, light coton shirt - Bout'chou Monoprix
Classic mid cut toile white sneakers - Spring Court

Melamine dishware

When my daughter began to sit at the family table, I've first trusted her with regular tableware ... Then I started to collect melamine dishes so she could also enjoy nice dishware without causing any irreparable damage. Instead of having a complete set I founded more pleasant to mix and match pieces.
I have got most of these melamine crockery from Monoprix in France. Their summer collection is very nice with its shape inspired from plastic and foil take away dishes. The dots ones are part of their permanent collection.
The long spoons and the fushia cup are from the well-known brand Rice that makes a such wide range of products. These can be bought in Geneva at: La Boîte à Malices, Kids Planet, Duo sur Canapé, Famous Ape, UBF Doudou & Cie, Envie de Fraise.
